Vegan Parmesan Cheese
WHAT YOU’RE MAKING:
Nut free vegan parmesan is perfect for anyone with a nut allergy or if you just want to omit some fats. This is simple to come together. There is no blender needed. Just place the ingredients in a jar and shake.
INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup hemp seeds
1/4 cup nutritional yeast
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
METHOD:
Add the ingredients to a glass jar. Shake the jar to incorporate. You can store this in the refrigerator or the pantry. If storing in the pantry, check the expiration date of your hemp seeds to determine length of storage for the parmesan cheese.
Sprinkle on top of spaghetti, use in lasagna, sprinkle on a salad or add to some cooked vegetables. The possibilities are endless.
